This workshop will dive into color theory going well beyond the basics of looking at a color wheel. We will explore aspects of color that you can immediately use in your painting practice including neutralizing colors to achieve more realistic and natural paintings, pushing space forward and backward using temperature, creating colors that "sing" based on color organizing (simultaneous contrast), various color charts to limit your palette for efficiency, and how to alter your colors "on the fly" without creating mud.
The objective of this class is to give you more control and flexibility over your colors, so they don't control you!
Prior to class students will receive a PDF packet of worksheets via email.
